The Kelley Peters Trio

BIO:

The Kelley Peters Trio (also known as KP3) has been performing steadily in Houston, TX and the surrounding areas for the past 14 years. With heavenly harmonies and a performance quality only family can produce, this unique trio will create the perfect atmosphere for your event. This acoustic driven band plays a wide variety of songs ranging from the oldies to today’s top 40 list. Composed of Kelley Peters, her father Tommy, and her uncle Rankin, this trio is a breath of fresh air.

Tommy and Rankin Peters are no strangers to the entertainment business. With experience spanning over 40 years, these brothers have performed for celebrities, dignitaries, top business entrepreneurs, and in performance venues all over the world. Rankin’s performance on the bass is nothing shy of the best. He keeps the groove solid, maintaining a strong backbone for the band. Tommy’s steady rhythm and inventive solos on the guitar mesmerize the audience and urge them to request songs that feature him most. Centered around the pure and powerful vocals of Kelley, Tommy and Rankin, with their combined vocal range and three part harmonies allow for a vast repertoire of songs.

In addition to performing with KP3, Kelley is also a seasoned actress in the Houston area. You may have seen her perform in past seasons with Stages Repertory Theatre as well as starring as Patsy in ‘Always Patsy Cline’, in children’s theatre with Main Street Theatre, or in the 2015 production of A Christmas Carol at the Alley Theatre. Kelley also toured the world as a lead singer for Royal Caribbean International, entertaining audiences from Seattle all the way to sunny Australia.  Most recently, Kelley was a background vocalist for Base Hologram’s 2019 US/Canada “Roy Orbison & Buddy Holly Rock ’n’ Roll Dream Tour”.  As a sought after studio session vocalist, she has done radio and television jingles as well as voice over recordings.  Kelley holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Musical Theatre from Sam Houston State University.
